Governance

CAF is incorporated under the Victorian Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012. CAF is governed by a Steering Committee that draws together property owners and managers, cleaning companies, industry representatives, the Fair Work Ombudsman and United Voice – the union representing cleaners (see Partners for further details).

CAF has an independent Chair – Mr Tony Beck of ME Bank – and employs an Executive Officer.

CAF has three subcommittees – Finance & Administration; Standards, Compliance & Certification; and Communications & Industry Engagement.

CAF is also supported by an Advisory Group made up of a broad group of participants from across the cleaning supply chain. The Group provides advice on the tools used to implement the CAF star rating system and supports take-up of CAF’s standards throughout the industry.
